We went to Dallas for the weekend to visit the Weston's, and had a blast! The 4.5 hour car ride was the longest time we have ever had Ayson in the car (he will barely make it 2 hours to get to AC before he has a meltdown) so we were a little worried about how he was going to handle it. But, he did great...in fact, we didn't even have to stop on the way down there, and only once on the way back. He's been fooling us all along! Your secret is out now, buddy ;)
It was so funny to watch Ayson and Asher interact. Asher is so sweet and laid back and Ayson is a little hyper dude...he never quit moving the entire weekend! Asher wasn't too sure about Ayson the whole time :) Ays is going through this loud talking...ok, screaming phase, and every time he would scream, it would make Asher cry. Poor little guy! It was crazy how different their little personalities were. Here they are checking each other out for the first time.
Smile boys!!! We really tried, but they weren't interested!
Ayson bugging Asher to play
We took the boys to the Fort Worth Zoo on Saturday. It was a perfect day to be at the zoo, and the boys were so good! Here are some of our favorite zoo pics :)
Checking out the elephants
Kelly and Asher
All the boys :)
Having a good time!
Look at his cute little baby teeth...love it!
First carousel ride
He loved the birds
After a fun day at the zoo, we went to eat some yummy mexican food! This restaurant was so fun..too bad Ayson was too tired to enjoy it :)
Ready for the pool...Sunday was hot and sunny, so we decided to take the boys swimming for the first time. The water was a little cool, but once they got used to it, they didn't seem to mind too much. They were cute little studs in their swimming trunks!!! Here are some of our favorite pool pics...
This is his "mom! I'm cold" face :)
Splish, Splash
And the final first of the weekend was his boo-boo. We were eating at the Cheesecake Factory last night and Ayson decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the marble table. His eye took most of the impact...needless to say, he was not a happy camper. His poor little eye was a little swollen and we thought for sure it was going to turn into a black eye, but this is what he has to show for it today. I guess we need to prepare ourselves for a lot worse injuries than this, huh?!
