Well, first of all...Ayson has finally cut his first tooth! Of course, he will not show it off for the camera, so for now you will just have to take my word for it :) It's his bottom, left front tooth. So, since he won't let anyone see it yet, this ADORABLE picture of him having fun at the park will have to do.
When Ayson wasn't busy pushing that tooth through, he was busy soaking up the summer sun. He had playdates at the pool and park with his friend Braeden, and also a cookout date with mama and dada on the back patio :)
Ayson really loved the pool! And, thank goodness, because you know, I am determined to have a little fishy :) He sat in the zero depth area and splashed around. Then when we took him into deeper water he laughed and screamed with excitement.
He also loved to lounge in his floaty and hang out with Braeden...this picture makes me laugh because we've got them so covered from the sun that you can barely see them. Oh well, no sunburns for little man!
Isn't he the cutest little centerpiece you have ever seen?! We grilled last night and Ayson joined us for dinner. We sat him on the table in his bumbo, and he was content with chewing on his baby Cheetos. These are his new favorite snack. He has gotten really good at picking them up and putting them straight into his mouth.
And here's a little product placement for French's mustard...I think they should probably pay us for the advertisement :)
Nitey nite...it's off to bed for this tired little boy, who enjoyed his first memorial day weekend!!!

"Ma-Ma"
Ayson has added "ma-ma" to his extensive vocabulary of syllables :) However, for some reason, he cannot say it without sounding whiny or upset. When you watch the video, you'll know what I mean...he wasn't upset about anything, this is just what he sounds like when he says it. Such a funny little dork!
We haven't been very good lately about reading to Ayson, but we are getting back into the routine of doing it...I promise, Grammy!!!! He has recently taken a new interest in books. He loves to help us turn the pages and, of course, chew on them a little bit.
He even crawled over to his bookshelf yesterday and picked out his own book :)
Good choice bubba!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
Pops came for a visit last Friday night and treated us to a night at the ballpark! We have been wanting to take Ayson to a baseball game for awhile to check out the new Driller's stadium in Downtown Tulsa. To our surprise, the game was sold out except for the lawn seating in the outfield, so we decided to take in the game from the outfield :) It ended up being the perfect place to watch the game...we threw out a blanket and Ayson got to roll around. Much better than being confined to seats and being passed from lap to lap! We all had a great time! The new stadium is so nice and the weather was perfect. Ayson even made it on the jumbo-tron! Those cameramen are good at finding cute babies ;)
Isn't this the sweetest?! I absolutely love this picture! They looked like twinkies that night :)
Getting some love from Dada
Happy boy at his first baseball game
Auntie A & Elaina entertaining little man
He made it until the 7th inning before he checked out for the night :)
And finally, this is little dude showing off how mobile he is getting! He's got the army crawl down. It's funny to watch him crawl on the tile because he slaps his hands on the floor. He likes to get up on his hands and knees, but then he's not sure what to do from there :) I'm sure it will all click soon, then we will really be on the go!

March for Babies 2010
Today was the big day...and it couldn't have gone any better. The weather was perfect and, of course, our amazing team was PERFECT! There were 26 members of "TEAM WILCOX" that showed up to support our little ambassador...26!!!!! It was so incredible. That is all Aaron and I talked about on the way home; how lucky Ayson is to have such a wonderful group of people who love him. Everyone looked great in the team shirts :)
The Bartlesville March for Babies walk is held at Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve...such a cool place for this event! We walked past llamas, longhorn cattle, donkeys, buffaloes, ostriches, and one horrible snake (which we did not enjoy seeing,) thankfully he wasn't interested in us! But, the highlight for us was Ayson being introduced as the ambassador...we definitely got that "proud parent" feeling. We were honored to be able to share Ayson's story with everyone in attendance, knowing they all had probably gone through something similar.
Through all of your support, we were able to be the top fundraising family team! We raised almost $2000! And we were also the top family team with the most members walking! Ayson got a really cool plaque with his name on it, which he immediately put in his mouth...what else would you do with an award besides chew on it :)
So here goes our list of Thank You's! First to our walkers...Cathy, Wiley, Doug, Sharon, Robin, Bruce, Abbey, Angela, Jesse, Gavin, Theaden, Jennifer, Michael, Kierslynn, Dorothy, Ronnie, Hal, Neva, Joe, JoAnne, Gage, Maria & Marilyn. Thank you so much for making this day extra special for us. Having all of you there meant so much. I'm getting a little teary eyed just thinking about it ;)
And to everyone who donated...Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Each of you helped us surpass our goal, beyond what we ever expected. Thanks for sponsoring Ayson, and donating your money for a cause that will help the tiniest miracles get the best start possible.
So now for the pictures...there is a lot! Sorry, but I just couldn't narrow them down. So, enjoy! And, I'm sure there will be more in the coming days because there were lots of paparazzi there today snapping away:) To our walkers...we can't wait to see your pics! Please email your favs so we can put them on the blog :)
