Merry Christmas to All

This time of year is always filled with lots of family, fun, and traditions new & old.  This year has certainly been no exception.

We got a kick start on the "family & fun" last weekend at my graduation.  I feel so lucky to have such an amazing family who has supported me the past 2.5 years while I was working on my Masters.  All the hard work definitely paid off, and I am now the proud owner of an MS in Mass Communications.  Can't wait to put that degree to work in the future once we get settled in PC!

Now, on to traditions.  We started a new tradition this year of Santa pictures.  This was Ayson's very first encounter with Santa, and as you can tell, he wasn't too keen on the experience.  However, this picture absolutely cracks us up, and it will be framed...it's just too classic to not be enjoyed every Christmas from now on :)

Of course we have our yearly tradition of Christmas cards, and well, you know how that experience turned out.  But we did get a good one, and it has to be my favorite one yet!

And finally, for the last five years we have gone to see the lights at Rhema Bible College.  They do an amazing job, and if you haven't been...you need to go!  We took Ayson last year, but he was obviously too young to care.  So, this year we got out the stroller and walked around the whole campus.  He was so excited...eyes wide open...smiling...and chatting away the whole time.  It was so sweet :)  Here are a few of our favorites.

"Do not touch the lights."  Too bad he can't read yet ;)

Christmas lights are fun!

So pretty

Picture time with mama...look at that smile :)

Now with dada...such a happy kiddo.

Happy Holidays to all.  We hope yours is filled with family, fun and traditions.

Amy, Love the pictures. I saw Wiley at Westlake last night and he told me about Ayson's Santa experience. I looked at your blog from last year and I cannot believe how much he has grown. You have a beautiful family. By the way, congratulations on your graduation. Hugs, Jan Bartel
