5k Baby!

Ayson, Aaron and I have been doing a lot of running since the weather has warmed up.  We wanted to put all that hard work to use, so we signed up to run in the Firecracker 5k.  We were so excited that Grammy, Pops & Auntie A wanted to join us.  

This was Ayson & I's first official 5k!!!  We got some pointers from Dada, then we were off!  It was tough, but we made it!  Out of over 1000 runners, Aaron placed 7th in his age division and Ayson and I placed 5th in the Strollin' Moms division...don't get too excited, there weren't that many of us, but we'll take it!  It's hard work pushing 25+lbs for over 3 miles!!!  Auntie A, Pops & Grammy all did great too!!!!

Momma & Ays after our 3.1 mile run!  Ayson even got a ribbon when we crossed the finish line :)  We really did have a great time, and we can't wait to do the next one.
