Yesterday, Ayson got a developmental evaluation, to check to make sure he was meeting all his developmental milestones. He passed all of his developmental screens, and even excelled in some areas such as speech! Such great news. We weren't worried about anything, but since he was a preemie, he was offered free evaluations and help (if he needed it), through the SoonerStart program, until the age of three, by physical therapists and speech pathologists. They couldn't believe how well he was doing...we are so proud of him :)
Ayson is becoming so interested in his surroundings and all the fun things he has to play with. He's got a really strong grip now, and will grab his rattle and hang on to it for long periods of time. Yesterday during his developmental evaluation he swung it around for over 5 minutes!!! The physical therapist was really impressed. Here he is sitting like a big boy in his Bumbo with his favorite rattle.
Then, once he gets a grip on something, it goes straight into his mouth. He LOVES my scarfs!
And finally, he has been giving us a lot of piano recitals lately. Enjoy! Be prepared to be blown away...haha!
