Snow Day!

Someday winter will finally decide to go away, but until then, we can look at the pretty snow. We got around 7 inches at our house!



Grammy and Pops couldn't wait any longer to see Ayson, so they decided to brave the roads and come to Tulsa.


Pops had to change Ayson into some red and blue for the KU game...who knew legs weren't meant to go in the arm sleeves ;)

Ayson thought Grammy was pretty funny last night! Love his cute little laugh. Such a happy baby.

Playing and Sleeping

Ayson is really getting the hang of his new jumperoo!

He likes it so much that it is wearing him out:) I realized I didn't hear him bouncing and I looked over to find him taking a little nappy...too cute!

New Toys

Ayson has a new toy to capture his attention...and strengthen those little leg muscles too! We got him a jumperoo because he loves to sit up and stand, so we figured this would be a perfect activity toy for him...he loves it!

He has had fun checking out all the fun toys and bright colors attached to it. His legs aren't long enough to reach the ground just yet, so we put a pillow underneath him, and he started baby bouncing away :)






When he bounces, it plays music and lights up, so he has started to figure that out.

We also had some visitors earlier this week. Jeff and Chris stopped by to see little man. Ayson is always happy to meet a new face!

Can't get enough of those baby blues :) Look how long his eyelashes are getting! It wasn't that long ago he didn't have any at all.

Ayson has been really trying to roll over from his back to his tummy, but has yet to master the skill.





At least he's having fun trying :)

Full Night's Sleep!!!!!

The most exciting news to come from today...Ayson slept through the night!!!!! He has been regularly sleeping from 9:30pm until anywhere between 4-6:30am, but last night he officially did it. He slept from 9:30pm-8:30am...it was so nice! He would have slept longer too, if I didn't wake him up to get ready for Mimi.
Do you think he's trying to tell me something here ;)




We had to hang out inside today. The weather was rainy and cold, but that didn't keep Mimi from coming to visit :)





Ayson was excited to spend time with Mimi and was all smiles for her.

Self-Discovery

Ayson has finally figured out who that baby is in the mirror, and he thinks he is pretty interesting and funny :) He likes to talk to himself and laugh too. This video is pretty cute. He is talking for the first half, then starts to giggle towards the end. He keeps us laughing all day long!

Growing like a weed

We got a new weight on Ayson yesterday during his appointment for his Synagis Injection. He is up to 12lbs 5oz! Yay buddy :) He is getting so big. His dosage for Synagis increases with his weight, so he was pretty mad after his shot yesterday, but after some loving he was happy happy happy once again.

Ready for Spring!

We are all ready ready ready for Spring for two reasons. One, we can get out of the house and enjoy the nice weather! And two, warm weather means the end of flu season, which means we will finally be able to start taking Ayson out in public. We still have a few more months, but we are getting closer :) It reached the low 60's yesterday, so Ayson and I could not let it go to waste. We took a walk around the neighborhood, and tried out Ayson's jogging stroller.


Until now, he was too small for it, but he fits great in it now. We will definitely be putting some miles on that stroller!



More tummy time. He likes tummy time on the ottoman because he can watch his favorite shows :)




I watched Theaden today for a few hours, and T baby was being such a sweetie. Out of nowhere Theaden crawled up to Ayson and gave him a kiss on his head. My heart melted! Luckily he did it several more times so I could get a pic.




Here's the video. Every time after Theaden would give Ayson a kiss he would rush over and bury his head in his blanky, like he was shy. Two sweet boys...love it!!!!

Big Boy Clothes

Ayson got some khaki pants and a polo shirt for Christmas, so we decided to try them on the other day. Doesn't he look so handsome! This is the first time we have had shirt on him instead of a onsie, and he looked like such a big boy that it almost made me tear up! He was having fun cheesing for the camera.

Giggle Pants :)

Be prepared to smile! There is nothing cuter than a baby laughing. Ayson has been entertaining us a lot lately with his happy little laugh. But every time we got out the camera he would stop...little stinker! We finally caught him tonite, but we had to be sneaky :) He was in an especially giggly mood tonite. ENJOY!!!

He likes to eat his Koala bib he got from Auntie Allison.

We also got a visit from Loren, Pam & Russell today. Russell has been dying to meet Ayson, and he had a great time entertaining him. He even helped me feed him! Pam is also working on a fishy blanket for Ayson...can't wait until it is done! Little man will love all the bright colors.

Funny lil' man

Ayson is so expressive with his eyes. He can open them so wide when he wants too. This video cracks me up! Make sure you watch his eyes...he's not sure what to make of the noise I'm making :)

He has also discovered his thumb; for real this time. We can't keep it out of his mouth. He hasn't quite got it down though, because he just gags himself most of the time...ha! Here he fell asleep with it in his mouth.



Here he is trying to perfect sitting up...his favorite thing to do :)




As you can see, he still falls over to the side, but every once in a while he will correct himself back up to sitting upright, when he starts to fall over. It won't be long!

Little Helper

Ayson is eating more and more! He will now consistently take four ounces every 3 hours and will even take 5 ounces about twice a day. We have had to switch to bigger bottles because he is finally outgrowing his 4 ouncers! He is also starting to "help" us feed him. He likes to get his little hands up on the bottle, which for now, is not much help :)





Here is little man all bundles up this morning. We had people here cleaning the tile and they had to doors open for a while, so we got to try out one of his new hoodies.





Since he has mastered holding his head up, he has recently become interested in looking at his activity mat, or whatever he is laying on.









He loves this little lion. It crackles whenever he grabs it, so he moves it all over the place so he can hear it make noise.


Ayson has also started laughing...it is so adorable. I have yet to catch it on video, but hopefully soon!

Morning Sunshine

This is what we get to wake up to every morning. He always has a smile for me when I say "Good Morning Sunshine." What a way to start the day :)

Fun Weekend

We had a great weekend. Saturday night we went over the visit the Leigh clan. It was so fun to get the boys together. Angela and I can't wait until Ayson and Theaden are big enough to play together...and hopefully Gavin will help us keep them under control :) They are quite a crew! This pic cracks me up...Ayson looks terrified, Theaden just wants to play and Gav is all smiles!!! Look at Theaden...he can stand all by himself now!

5 Months Old

Happy 5 months to our little guy. He is looking more and more handsome every day :)











We have been staying out of the cold and trying out all of Ayson's Christmas loot! He loves his rattle socks. You can see them on his feet. Since he loves to kick so much, these are perfect.






He also loves his Baby Einstein DVD's.







He will sit in his rocker and be so content, like he's really trying to soak it all in :)
