Home sweet home

So much has happened since my last post! Ayson had an appointment last Wednesday to receive his monthly RSV vaccine, so we got a new height and weight measurement. He is up to 7lbs 9oz and is 19in long. Growing like a weed :)
We also went home for Arkalalah. We had a great weekend. On a side note, it's amazing how much stuff you have to take with you when packing for a little guy...after some creative packing we managed to fit everything in the car.

This was Ayson's first trip to AC, and he got to cuddle with a lot of family this weekend :) Everyone was so excited to be able to spend some time with our sweet little guy.

We were also able to finally get Ayson's "newborn" pictures taken. Since we obviously couldn't have them taken when he was born, we had to put them off until now. Even though he is now the size of a typical newborn, he doesn't really act like one...making it more difficult to get him into those cute little picture positions. But, with some persistence, and patience from our amazing photographer, the session was a success. Heather Munson took Ayson's pictures. She does an amazing job! She posted a few from the session on her blog...we can't wait to see the rest of them :) In the meantime, check out this sneak peek.

Here are some pictures from our weekend...Enjoy!

Cousin Ashley and Ayson. Ashley drove up from OKC to see Ayson, and we couldn't get her to put him down all night :)

Great Grandma Mamo and Ayson

Me and my little buddy

Papa Doug with Kiers and Ays

Aunt Jenny and Ayson

Little Miss Kierslynn was so excited to hold "her baby Ayson"

Ayson got to meet Auntie Allison. She has been in the land down under for the past year, and has been dying to hold him.

Kristi also got to meet little man for the first time.

Ayson invited Uncle Dave over for steaks to celebrate his birthday last Tuesday. He was wide-awake the whole time...and so was Ayson ;)
