Smiles, smiles & more smiles!

Perfect weather days don't come around too often Oklahoma, so when you get one, you get out and enjoy it!  We have been busy outside going to the park, kicking the soccer ball, jumping on the trampoline and of course, driving our truck.  You can tell just how much this kiddo LOVES being outside. 

Only one thing could evoke this big of a smile...and once you see what happened, you will be laughing too!

Thomas Mania

Just in case you were worried about it, Ays's love for Thomas has not wavered...in fact, it has picked up steam (hahahaha)!!!!  I'll be here all week ;)

Thomas goes with us everywhere we go.  He was even nice enough to share with his friend Dominic.  These two were being so funny! 

And here is Ayson's favorite shirt.  He saw it in a store, and was so excited that I could not leave without it.  Now, it is a part of his wardrobe at least three days a week.

 

Because I was feeling crafty, I decided to make Ays a Thomas blanket & pillow.  They turned out pretty cute for my first sewing project.  And...

 

of course, he LOVES them.  When I ask him what he dreamed about each morning, he will always tell me "choo choos!"  As if there was any other answer to that question;)

Little Fishy

We are so lucky to have a brand new YMCA in Ponca City.  It is an amazing facility, that you should def check out if you haven't yet!  Anyways, Ays has been going to swimming lessons every Saturday for the past month.  He is really loving it, and learning a lot.  Being in this class takes me back to my aquatics days and makes me miss all my little water babies that I used to teach...because it's definitely different teaching your own little fishy how to swim!  I'm glad we are doing it though...it's been fun for all three of us!

This was Ays's first day...he's such a good lil' kicker now:)

Jumping in the water...he's still not a huge fan of this yet.  However, he is great at turning around and grabbing the wall!

Learning to blow bubbles is hilarious!

After sucking in some water, he wasn't quite sure he wanted to try it again.  But, we have a few more weeks & all summer long to master that skill :)
